From bagel to Negroni

Verani, the grab-and-go eatery in the departures lounge at Malta International Airport, runs its menu on screens. I shot the food photography for those TV displays, covering breakfast bagels, Maltese dishes, sushi, a noodle bowl, a poke bowl and a Negroni, a range that stretches from breakfast to the cocktail bar.

The set is seven animated loops, all in landscape, each pairing one dish with a short headline and, where it applies, a price. Because the screens came first, every element was photographed on its own, and my studio took it from there, assembling the shots, designing the layouts and animating them through to the final files.
